Findery is a personal, non-commercial browser extension that helps you search Etsy listings. This page explains what data it handles.

What Findery collects

When you type a search term into Findery, that term (along with your chosen price range and popularity filter) is sent to Findery's backend server so it can query Etsy's API on your behalf. No other data is collected.

What Findery does not collect

• No account creation or login is required
• No personal information (name, email, location) is collected
• No browsing history outside of Findery's own popup is accessed or recorded
• No data is sold or shared with advertisers

How search terms are used

Search terms are used only to fetch matching results from Etsy's API and are not linked to any personal identity. A short-lived cache (a few minutes) may temporarily store recent search results to avoid redundant API calls, and is not tied to any individual user.

Third parties

Findery queries Etsy's public API to retrieve listing data. When you click a result, you are taken to etsy.com, which has its own privacy policy. Findery itself does not share your search terms with any advertiser or third party beyond Etsy's API, which is required for the extension to function.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
